Hi,
=20
Is there a way to know if a particular module is installed or not (with=
out writing a script) ... i mean something like a "command" that i can ru=
n on the command-prompt.
=20
I have got many new modules installed on my machine an often write code=
thinking tht the module I am using is available with the standard setup =
of perl. My juniors dont have access to internet; hence they have to trou=
ble me everytime to know if the module they are using comes along with th=
e standard perl-setup or has to be downloaded separately.
=20
Any help is much appreciated.
=20
Thanks n Regards,
Ukh

This is a FAQ. See 'perldoc -q installed'.

Maintain a PPM repository on your local network. Your juniors can then
install any modules that they need without troubling you.
